The readers’ appetite will be whetted for more, the constant addictive craving Noel seems to infuse in every book continuing to guarantee her strong readership. Noel includes plenty of surprising twists, unexpected tie ins and histories, and never lets the reader know what else she has planned…leaving only a burning need for more.”-AGoodAddiction.com

Dark Flame, the 4th Immortals book by Alyson Noel is probably my favorite yet. I could definitely say that the theme has more of two parts. First, magic is not all it seems! And second, everything has it’s costs. This wonderful work of fiction has 321 pages of pure joy. Dark Flame is probably my favorite so far because it’s got a plot that will shock you. I said that about the other books to but this I truly wasn’t expecting. Ever learns shocking things about her past, quite a few of which involve Jude. A new immortal is made while one is killed! Ever learns that magic is truly a bad idea, and she also learns the true meaning of love and that Damen is her true soul mate.

This book is probably best fro girls but boys might like it as well. Teenagers in general.

My overall response to this book was to race up stairs when I was finished and grab the next one from my shelf. That should tell you that I LOVED it! This is the best book I’ve read by Alyson Noel yet!

Would I recommend this book? Duh! It’s enthralling, and will have you reading for days straight to finish it. It’s got some really good lessons that I think everyone would do well to learn. I think the most important reason that you should read this book is because it shows you what people will do for love.

Noel knows exactly how to keep me enthralled in her books…Shadowland is purely mesmerizing. A book with a little bit of everything in it— romance, suspense, friendship, and immortality—all meshed together to create a mind-blowing combination.” -The Book Bloger

Shadowland is the third installment of the Immortals series by Alyson Noel. The fiction book has 368 pages in it. I think the theme of this book in particular is that love knows no limits. It describes true love like never before. Alyson Noel shows us that true love is being excepted for who you are. No more, no less. That ever when you make mistakes, no matter the size, you will still be loved. True love, is the person who will stand next to you, no matter what. In Shadowland Ever and Damen are challenged like never before. The antidote that Roman had Ever give Damen may have saved his life but now the two can’t touch without Damen dying, and having his soul go to the Shadowland. Ever tries throughout the book the get the antidote to the antidote. Will she get it? I’m not going to ruin this thrilling ride for you.

I really liked how the style of this book was written from Ever’s point of view. You get to see things from her eyes and it really makes you feel as if you’re there. I constantly had to remind myself that I was not Ever.

This writing is effective, powerful, beautiful, and magical. It shows magic has magic has never been described before.

This book has truly thrilling twists that you will not see coming. If you haven’t read these books, well you know the drill. READ THEM! Why? This book is moving, it teaches you that everything has a cost, and above all it as truly rock on characters that I personally have mixed feelings about!

“The Immortals Series is so unique; it’s like a breath of fresh air…Noel knows how to pull you into her world with beautiful imagery and mesmerizing words. Blue Moon is a page turner that will keep you reading until the last page. Just when you think you have the plot figured out, Alyson throws in another twist making it impossible to put this book down.” –5 stars! -Fantastic Book Review

Blue Moon is the second book in the Immortals series by Alyson Noel. This ecstatic book of fiction includes 304 pages of words that will hook you till then end. Instead of know one is perfect as the theme I think the theme is more: You can never change to past, but you can always change the future. In Blue Moon Ever learns more about being an immortal. She has increasing powers but Damen has a strange sickness. He’s losing his powers and is determined to blame it all on karma. In the midst of all this craziness a new immortal enters the story. Roman. Don’t be fooled by his bright and cheery appearance. This British bloke is not what he seems, and it appears that Ever is the only one who recognizes that. This book as a plot that keeps twisting, you never know what’s around the corner, or the next page!

Alyson Noel clearly demonstrated her purpose in this book whether it was to make a thrilling series, or to teach us that the past can’t be changed, but the future can. Ever has to make some tough decisions. Will she choose to go back to her family, or save Damen?

The strengths of this book are sky high. It’s got a thrilling plot and words that will keep you up all night. The only weakness I could find in this book was that it was over to fast!

If you read the first one I don’t think I even half to tell you to read this one! It’s got a plot and choices that will have your heart beating at a speed that can’t be good, I don’t know if there’s a book out there that can top this one, and I think most people can really relate to it, well, except the being immortal part.

Evermore by Alyson Noel is probably one of the best novels I have ever read. Evermore is the first book in a series called Immortals which is a fiction series. The paperback copy I read had 320 pages. The theme of this book is hard to see at first. I think that after reading almost the whole series I’m able to realize that no one is perfect. Even immortals, who are beautiful, strong, and appear to be perfect. Everyone has their secrets and the lies they tell.

Ever is a girl who used to live in Oregon. That is until she and her whole family almost died in a car crash. Almost, Ever didn’t completely die though. She didn’t cross the bridge with the rest of her family. She was brought back to life by Damen. Damen has lived for hundreds of years, searching for Ever each time she is reincarnated has a different girl. How is he hundreds of years old you ask? Well, he’s immortal. He’s handsome, kind, magical, and seemingly perfect. He is Ever’s true soul mate. After Damen brought Ever back to life she has physic powers. She can see people’s auros, read their minds, read a book by touching it, know test answers by touching the questions, and know people’s whole life stories by touching them.

The writing of this book is magical. I feel as if I’m Ever. One of the quotes on the back of the book goes something like, “When I was reading this book I would read it for hours, and when I wasn’t reading it I was trying to figure out how I could sneak in some more time to read it.” I agree completely with this quote. I could spend hours reading this book and I always wanted more. The day I finished it I begged my dad to take me to the library so I could get the next one. This writing is touching, and even though there’s magic, it’s not your average fairy tale ending. Nope, Ever is just a regular teenager who can live for a really long time.

For teenage girls out there looking for a good series these books are for you. I think the series is a perfect length so that you feel like there’s enough but by the 5 book you’re like, “When’s it going to end? But more importantly, how is it going to end.” You don’t want it to end so you can move onto a better series you want it to end so you can find out what happened!

You, reading this post right now, should read these books! Why you ask? Well these characters reflect people who could really be out there. Haven, is still trying to figure out where she belongs in this world. Miles, is gay and proud of himself and doesn’t let anyone tell him otherwise. Ever. Ever is a girl trying to figure out why she is here in this world. She’s a beautiful girl hiding under hoodies and still trying to figure life out. Do you need to read books quickly? You won’t be able to get to the end quick enough! Everybody says that know one is perfect. These books prove that with characters that will have you laughing out loud and crying tears under your covers at midnight.

There are rumors going around that after 6th period people are going to go march around the school so the teachers can keep their jobs. I don’t get why people are willing to blow off 7th period to save teachers’ jobs but they are not willing to stand up for gays, lesbians, and bisexuals. Both are fighting for people’s rights, but people are only willing to fight for the rights of these teachers that are straight. Are you one of those people?

A few chapters into the book Zoe’s old boyfriend, Marc, gives Echo Zoe’s journal. Throughout the book Echo reads to you from Zoe’s journal. Echo and Zoe are opposites in all possible ways. Zoe is out there, unpredictable, flawless and fearless. Echo hides in a shell but in the book she starts to come out. She tries to be Zoe which brings us to the theme of the book. Be yourself and nobody else.

Alyson Noel is one of my favorite authors and this is one of my favorite books by her. In general of all the books I have read it was one of my favorites. I deeply enjoyed this book and when I was reading it I was laughing out loud or crying. When I wasn’t reading it I was trying to figure out how to sneak in time to read it. This book is just that captivating. This book could be for adults or teenagers, but definitely for anyone looking for a good read. In a way that truly catches your attention this book teaches you about trust. If you want to know more read this book! Saving Zoe is a spectacular novel that I would truly recommend. I would recommend it because it teaches important life lessons, it’s a magnificently captivating novel, and it keeps the reader’s attention better then some books I have read. Alyson is one of my favorite authors and I hope she will be one of yours.

Today is the Day of Silence. It’s a day where students everywhere take a vow of silence to stop bullying, harassment, and to give rights to lesbians, gays, and bisexual people. It’s been kind of a tough day so far and it’s only 3rd period. People aren’t very supporting but that’s ok. By the end of the day people are probably going to think I’m lesbian! In a way it’s funny how people are all over helping Japan, and they think that slave trade is bad, and that people were so crule to treat blacks like that, but really we’re doing the same thing with people who are gay, lesbian, and bisexual. “My deliberate silence echoes that silence, which is caused by anti-LGBT bullying, name calling, and harassment. I believe that ending the silence is the first step toward building awareness and making a commitment to address these injustices. Think about the voices you are not hearing today. What are you going to do to end the silence?” (http://www.dayofsilence.org/)

Some of you may have read my post on the Day of Silence. Well if you haven’t scroll down there and read it now. Our school system is losing money and some of the teachers are being let go.
